How to Deal With Difficult People

Some people will never accept you. It is best to avoid them to maintain mental peace.
Difficult people are good at keeping the conversation in the loop. They will never agree with you and try to pull you back in a never ending conversation where they will use your arguments as means to gaslight you.

Here are four ways to deal with Difficult People
1. Don’t Argue
Difficult people will try to provoke you to get into an argument. They will use it an opportunity to gaslight. It is best to avoid the argument.

2. Don’t Explain again and again
Difficult people will always criticize your opinion and choices. They will never accept your opinion, Just explain it once and stay firm on your decision. You can say this, “I have explained it before and I need you to respect my decision. This is not up for the discussion.

3. Don’t Justify
They will make you feel like you have to provide a reason for your choices or decision that they have to approve of.
Remember if someone does not respect your decision, you do not owe them a justification.

4. Don’t Defend
They will use logic and reasoning to bring up confrontation. You will be roped into a defense and offense position.
